The awards system I am currently serving as product developer on will consist of badges, trophies, and room and avatar items that users can earn while playing games. Awards will be surfaced on both the game play page as well as the game experience itself, and once earned, they will also appear on the user’s profile. The long-term goal is to expand the system across a wide range of site experiences.
